Are you ready for the Whomp?
The 12th annual INTERGALACTIC BODYSURF CHAMPIONSHIP KNOWN AS WHOMPORAMA is TBD for 2023 in Carolina Beach, North Carolina. Whomporama is the largest bodysurfing festival and competition on the east coast, if not the world! Crowds of people from all over, ages 5-60, will gather at the Hamlet Avenue beach access to support local initiatives giving back to the community.
Registration:
Beach registration begins at 8 AM and the contest starts at 9 AM. The after party will be hosted on the Carolina Beach Boardwalk pavilion following the all-day event and starts at 6 PM. Listen to live music from some local favorites including Seeking Madres, Pleasure Island, and Kickingbird. 100% of the proceeds from Whomporama go to phase 2 of the Carolina Beach skate park and pump track.
